Course FAQs
What is the difference between a standard and a framework?
The standard was developed in-line with employers and focuses on the skills, knowledge and behaviour that a candidate needs to secure in the role. Frameworks are qualification- focused and are tailored around the aims of the awarding body. It can be confusing but your allocated business engagement advisor will find the right apprenticeship for your business.
What happens if an apprentice goes on maternity leave or is off sick for a long period of time?
If an apprentice is going to be off for a significant amount of time, we can put them on a break in learning that stops the apprenticeship at the point they got up to. They can then restart it when they are back in work. Further details on this can be discussed with your apprentice’s assessor.
