    Course FAQs

Isn’t university the best way to secure a well-paid job?

We have a large amount of university graduates apply for our apprenticeships as many struggle to find a placement once they have finished their course. It is true that some employers do ask for degree level qualifications for their jobs, however, we have found that the majority of the employers we work with prefer employment experience to a degree. Leeds City College even offers higher apprenticeships (which are university level qualifications without the nasty price tag).

Aren’t apprenticeships just for those wanting to do hairdressing or plumbing?

While apprenticeship are great for hairdressing and plumbing, we offer apprenticeships in a wide range of industries from animal care to law. Apprenticeships are for anyone looking to get into the world of work while being supported to develop their skills.
