Course FAQs
How do I know that the employer environment is safe?
Leeds City College has a responsibility for the safeguarding for all of its learners. We conduct safety checks on all of our employers to ensure the environment our apprentices are working in is compliant with health and safety laws and has minimised any potential risks related to their job role.
This will be my child’s first job. Is there any support available to get them ready?
Yes, they will be brought in to the college for an information session prior to being sent to an employer. This session will cover information on apprenticeships and an introduction to employability topics such as interview techniques and CV writing. If your child requires further support, we have a link with a local authority for further employability training.
