Course Information
This introductory qualification is for trainee teachers who are just starting out in teaching/training, not in teaching/training currently or perhaps working as assessors and wish to develop their teaching skills.
Through our learner-centred approach, you’ll acquire knowledge and skills in preparing, planning, delivering and evaluating basic teaching and learning sessions in a variety of contexts. This course is based around preparing and delivering a micro-teach session.
This course replaced the PTLLS qualification some time ago, as with that qualification, there is no minimum teaching requirement for entry for this programme. Please note, this course takes place at University Centre Leeds.
