Dressmaking – General Sewing Stage 2
Dressmaking for the intermediate and confident person. You will work on a
sewing project from start to finish. Ideally you will have taken a sewing
machine course in the past, or have some experience of using a sewing machine.
You will have been sewing for at least 1 years and will learn further sewing
and dressmaking techniques to complete a project.
Course Information
Through the use of sewing machine projects you will expand your knowledge in using the sewing machine.
Assessment types: You will produce a personal portfolio of your Sewing projects which will be assessed.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but you should have basic English and Maths and be able to follow instructions. You will also need to to have completed a basic Sewing Machine introductory course.
The course is delivered at Deacon House. Introductory material is available. You will be encouraged to bring some of your own resources to fully benefit from the course.
