City and Guilds Assessing Vocational Achievement Certificate Level 3
This qualification is for people working in, or looking to work in, assessment and internal quality assurance. These qualifications are open to people carrying out assessments and quality assurance in most learning environments including FE, adult continuing learning, employers and the third sector.
Course Information
This qualification allows learners to enter the worlds of assessment and
quality assurance. They are the recognised standard for assessors and they form
part of the Learning & Development and Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong
Learning Sector qualifications.
You will learn about the principles and practices of assessment, assessing
occupational competence in a work environment, and assessing vocational skills.
You will attend four weekly workshops to learn the knowledge relating to the
principles and practices of assessment and then have access to individual
tutorials to plan and evidence your competence in assessing.

Who is this course for?
