Childcare Assistant Framework

The framework develops your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the nursery/childcare assistant. You will learn about supporting children’s development and learning, how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people and health and safety policies and procedures. The framework is studied online, enabling you to benefit from flexible study at a time and pace suitable for your own needs. You will gain valuable qualifications which will enhance your CV and future career opportunities. You will be supported online by experienced tutors who will help to guide you through your learning programme. Full training will be given to enable you to access the learning experiences provided online.

There are no formal entry or experience requirements, however you will need to be at Level 1 for literacy.
