The BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in horticulture is the equivalent of 1 A-level and provides learners with the knowledge and skills to prepare them to enter the horticulture industry via an apprenticeship, further study or directly into employment. If you are passionate about working outside and have a keen interest in plants and property maintenance then this is the course for you.

Course Information

The course is delivered predominantly at Temple Newsam, however there may be the requirement to undertake some study at Printworks Campus. The course includes both practical and theoretical elements. The course also requires learners to undertake work experience with an employer in the sector.
