BTEC Level 1 Introductory Certificate in Land Based Studies
Care for domestic animals with our practical course. You will learn how to assist with the care of animals and ensure animal accommodation meets hygiene standards. You will monitor health, feed animals, and learn to handle and restrain them when required. You’ll be assessed via coursework and practical work, there are no exams.
This one year full time course will allow learners to assist with the health and welfare of a wide variety of animals. The course includes both practical and theoretical elements and is assessed using a variety of methods.
This course is assessed by course work and practical assessments.
