Is a kitchen a stressful environment to work?
Roles within the kitchen can tend to require constant concentration and can be highly demanding for their employees. However, you will receive full training on how to prioritise tasks and strategies to minimise stress levels. Employers will also be aware that you are a trainee and will not throw you in at the deep end.
Will employers just use me for the jobs they do not want to do?
No, you may start your apprenticeship completing basic tasks, but the whole point of your apprenticeship is to develop into a well-rounded member of staff. We will meet with your employer every eight weeks to make sure that they are supporting your development.
