Define your own aesthetic with this exciting programme. You will deepen your knowledge of art processes such as painting, printmaking, drawing, textiles, and sculpture, ready to specialise in your own personal practice. You will also work towards a final major project that will be showcased in the end of year exhibition.

Units / Modules

The course is a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Art and Design, which is a one year accredited course comprising 2 units. Students can progress onto the Extended Diploma in a second year of study which tops the Diploma up to become a two year accredited course comprising 4 units.

    Extra Curriculum

    We provide full-time arts education to over 1,000 students every year, from level 1 through to BA Honours degrees. If you are successful in gaining a place on one of our specialist courses, we will work with you to develop your creative skills and prepare you for the next big step – either to university, drama school, art college or the world of work.

    We create opportunities to work with external professional bodies to exhibit in public spaces and understand the wider community within the creative industries through collaborations with professional studios and local artists/practitioners.
