Course FAQs
How much should an apprentice be paid?
The minimum wage at the minute for apprentices is £3.90 per hour, however, we do ask that employers pay a fair wage for the role in which you are advertising. We find that those employers who offer a bit more money usually draw more applications to their vacancies.
What is the Digital Apprenticeship Service?
The Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) is an online account where levy-paying employers manage their available apprenticeship funding. This is the system where funds will be released to your allocated training provider for payment of any apprentices you have on programme with them. Our business engagement team are happy to run through this with you at our visits.
