Leeds City College is one of the largest centres for 16 -19 science education in the UK.

A qualification in science can lead to a whole host of opportunities in health-related industries, the pharmaceutical industry, land-based industries, environmental work as well as sport and fitness. There are also a wide range of jobs for technicians and scientists in this advancing and expanding sector.

These full-time courses are available to 16-18 year olds. They are also aimed at over 19s and can be ideal for re-entry to education. Level 2 courses allow progression to Level 3 Applied Science and onwards to higher education.

Courses combine the fundamentals and perceptions of science, with scientific investigations and practical techniques.
