As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Learn all about event management, work closely with our recruitment and business development teams to organise events, ensure all promotional materials have been prepared and assist with pre and post promotion on our website and social platforms
- Control our merchandise stock levels and reorder as required Research new items as necessary and complete cost comparisons
- Support the Content Marketing Executive, posting content on our social media platforms and monitor messages and audience activity
- Ensure our brand sharepoint site and media library is kept up to date with brand templates, photographs and brochure materials
- Get involved with our colleague engagement activities, helping to organise any internal activities, and post content on our intranet as required
- Manage mailing lists, internal contact groups and external subscribers on e-comms software
- Keep our merchandise stock level and marketing expense spreadsheets up to date
- Manage the marketing and colleague engagement mailboxes as well as internal marketing requests
- Maintain our industry directory listings on appropriate websites, monitor review sites and any media coverage
- Use web analytics tools to track website traffic, social media engagement and track spend on paid advertising campaigns

Training to be Delivered
Your training plan
- You will be required to attend Leeds City College 1 day a month to complete studies and allocated time each week to complete course work
