Our state of the art Printworks Campus is home to our Engineering courses amongst others. Here you can learn the practical trades of Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, Fabrication and Welding and Mechanical Engineering. We also offer an academic route for those who wish to pursue higher apprenticeships or degree level study in Engineering. 

With bespoke facilities to hone your craft, modern classrooms to facilitate theory parts of the course and a passionate team of tutors, with industry specialisms, the Engineering department is the perfect place for you to enter the world of these industries.

If you’re interested in technology and innovation, you can develop those higher level skills with study options in manufacturing engineering or maybe electronic engineering.

In the Engineering and Manufacturing teams, we offer a range of bespoke modular courses, intended to provide hands-on working knowledge of systems available to the modern engineer.

Engineering Technology Diploma Level 1
This qualification is for learners who are just starting out in their career in Engineering. Want to learn practical skills that will develop you into progressing into the Engineering industry?

Electrical Installation Diploma Level 2
This is a full time course and has been designed for you to gain skills in electrical installation. On this course, you will learn practical skills and knowledge employed in the electrical trade.

Electrical Installation Diploma Level 3 (Buildings & Structures)
Units such as principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering will be studied on this Level 3 course.
